Inside/outside qualified Controlman, Assistant Operator, and Operator Qualified. Inside Controlmen operate equipment and process variables from the control board with multiple process units under their supervision. Outside Controlmen monitor equipment and process on site and are available to the Inside Controlmen in normal and emergency situation or when manipulation of certain equipment is not automated. Assistant Operators assist Inside and Outside Controlmen in daily tasks and oversee the safety and environmental testing of equipment under maintenance and report directly to the Operator. Operators issue work permits and act as a lead and supervisor to the crew on shift. Operators are directly responsible for crew, equipment and all process within their unit. In our case 6 units for fractionation of Diesel and light stock on the Frac side and 5 units for HF Alki fractionation.
