Managed the Advanced Engineering’s Group Cut and Sew Lab to increase Cut and Sew capacity, develop and integrate product engineering disciplines into the cut and sew development process for doors, IP, and Consoles. Increase Labs content to incorporate every machine used in current production in the company. Developed and maintained budgets including validation costs, engineering and sewers, material costs, and new equipment costs. Developed guidelines and defined capabilities for 3D robotic sewing. Supported efforts to reduce cycle time of their robotic sewing operation by using collaborative robots. Consolidated and refined design criteria for cut and sew feasibility sections into a single document used in corporate wide PD Process. Incorporated GDT methodology (use of locators and locating scheme) into cut and sew designs to improve capability in IP PAB cut sew wrap and lamination operations. Support North American, European, and Asian plant operational issues with multiple problem solving and VAVE activities.
