On-site experience in controlled release field studies (Army Proving Grounds, Mercury NV - now called N2S2).Extensive experience consulting on photochemistry, photochemical grid modeling, field measurement campaigns, and air quality research programs for ozone, PM2.5, and air toxics at the local, state, and federal levels. Also experience directing air quality research for the changing mobility/transport sector through Coordinating Research Council.Experience in designing/leading remote sensing campaigns for industrial facility emissions. Experience in chemical & environmental engineering issues (i.e., first successful MTBE removal from potable water supply - Rockaway, NJ). Skilled in chemical reaction engineering applied to environmental challenges (i.e., developed scale-up rules for environmental pollutants during process development; also outlined environmental challenges for cellulosic biofuels processes; also modeled methane emissions during LNG shipping/transport). Unique expertise in cyanide chemistry, cyanide complexes, cyanide derivatives, and trace metal chemistry - including abatement technology - for the energy and power industries.
