Oran Environmental Solutions is one of the UK’s leading waste management & recycling companies, offering an extensive range of environmental solutions to domestic customers, local authorities, public bodies & commercial enterprises.The role of Area Supervisor is predominantly responsible for the Northumbrian Water Ltd contract as well as a smaller contract with Severn Trent Water, ensuring the management of on-site activities including performance, conduct, health & safety, welfare and procedural complianceThe main duties of the role include (but not limited to): •Sole point of daily contact with the NWL with regard to the running of four sewage treatment sites. •Managing a team of 5 Operators to ensure targets set by NWL are met and site compliance achieved. •Visiting all sites on a daily basis to gain feedback and communicate plans and changes.•Weekly administration of sites including manpower planning, annual leave and sickness cover, payroll & other paperwork submission to Head Office and stores requests to NWL.•Ensuring that all data is logged and reported in the event of faults, breakdown and maintenance requirements, and submitting a job request to have issues rectified.•Attendance of weekly and monthly Operations meetings with NWL and other companies connected to the contract. Monthly review of all contract KPI’s.•Management of one Operator & one HGV for the Severn Trent Water contract, ensuring that the vehicle is maintained to the required standards set out by VOSA.

Agrivert is a UK- wide Company operating in the waste management sector, with a market leading position in the specialist treatment and processing of organic waste.Installations CoordinatorThe Installation Coordinator role assists the Field & Process Manager with the on-site delivery of construction projects and the management of on-site activities, including performance, conduct, health & safety, welfare and procedural compliance. The main duties of the role include:•Assisting in the installation of a variety of silos and associated dewatering equipment.•Assist with the management of all site staff.•Attendance at site coordination meetings•Completion of risk assessment and method statements.•The operation of Telehandler and Cherry Picker.•Undertaking Slinger Signaller duties.•Working at height and within confined spaces during installations.•Oversee that all plant and equipment on site are fully compliant and only used by trained personnel.•Completion of all necessary paperwork.•Ensure that all Company and environmental, health & safety policies and procedures are adhered to.•Ensure that Sites are maintained in a clean, efficient and legislatively compliant manner

Undertook a wide range of technical activities as part of the Royal Engineer regiment, including bridge building and field based radio & generator repair and maintenance.Lance Corporal – Section Second-in-Command/Signaller•Undertook a 4 month tour of duty in Iraq acting as part of a construction team undertaking repairs to schools, hospitals etc. In addition, responsible for the training of all ranks on the usage of communication equipment.•Undertook a 3 month construction tour of Gibraltar, acting as events coordinator.•Camp-based role of Stores Orderly for signalling equipment, involving daily stock take of equipment, issuing of items and all administrative tasks associated with the Stores area.•Chosen to be ‘Orderly Corporal’, a position of responsibility carrying out all administrative tasks for the Sergeant Major and other high-ranking officers, including the composition and distribution of daily orders for the Camp.•Gained Class 2 Heavy Goods vehicle driving licence (up to 17.5 tonne).Section Sapper – Field Signals Operator•Undertook a 6 month tour of duty in Iraq involving manning of the Operations room, servicing of signals vehicles, line laying for communications and stores duties, as well as front line communication activities.•Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all signals kit and vehicles on Camp.•Selected to be Officer Commanding Driver.
