Project Manager with full life cycle experience in both public and private sectors and a PRINCE 2 (2009) and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP2009) Certified Practitioner.Currently Project Manager for scanning automation back-end solutions at Nationwide.Planning and Assurance Skills:• Build the plan from scratch• Facilitate planning workshops• Develop a hierarchical breakdown of artefacts e.g. using PRINCE2 PBS• Construct the overall plan schedule, resource profile and cost model• Establish the project baseline and change control process to manage the baseline• Update and progress the overall plan to reflect actual progress to date and provide an accurate forecast of future performance• Conduct What-If scenarios against the plan including more advanced modelling techniques such as Monte Carlo simulations• Manage other planners and members of the PMO• Develop and implement a set of planning standards into the organisation and monitor adherence to these standards• Coach new project managers into local planning standards and procedures• Manage internal and external dependencies to provide assurance of the overall integrity of the plan• Reconcile the overall planning process with risk, issue and quality management• Establish a set of key reporting metrics and build a reporting process around them• Develop a database to support the reporting process to ensure timely and consistent reporting data• Ensure that reporting across the programme / portfolio is consistent against the overall planSpecialties: MS Project, Primavera P6, MS Access, QlikSense and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
