Established and led the Responsible Business team for an international law firm. Member of the HR Senior Leadership team, with close connections to communications and workplace services. The programme consisted of four interconnected areas: Community, Environment, Inclusion and Clients. Developed the ESG and Inclusion strategy and governance structure for the firm. Demonstrated ESG as a driver of growth, winning over senior stakeholders using data, impact reporting and identifying client collaboration opportunities. Achieved Mansfield Rule UK certification, Stonewall WEI Top 100, Social Mobility Foundation Top 75 and signatories of the Mindful Business Charter.Took on additional responsibility for Environmental Sustainability, determined baseline carbon emissions and set strategy to reach Net Zero, becoming Carbon Neutral in its operations by 2023. Handled SECR Reporting, ISO14001 and 50001 and responded to client pitch queries. Introduced climate awareness training, sustainable travel policy to reduce impact of business travel. Explored options including SBTI to continue journey to net zero.
