Assisted in every aspect of organizing the inaugural Lambda LitFest: Los Angeles. The first annual Lambda LitFest Los Angeles is a celebration of contemporary voices honoring and expanding on the rich, diverse tradition of LGBTQ writers and readers in the Southland. Lambda LitFest will be held in Los Angeles March 6-12, 2017 with programming, FREE and open to the public.

Build and maintain relationships with “Big 5” and mid-sized publishers, including Harper, Random House, W.W. Norton, Grove/Atlantic, SOHO Press, and others. Manage client communication throughout lifecycle of an advertising campaign,from reserving inventory to final performance analytics. Collaborate with Author Marketing and Editorial teams on marketing campaigns to develop innovative products. Attend industry events, including BEA and Bay Area Young to Publishing Group (YPG) meet-ups.

Worked closely with various stakeholders across art, editorial, and advertising departments to map and produce a weekly and a monthly magazine, as well as ancillary guides and contracted projects. Trafficked, pre-flighted, and verified printed proofs of advertising and editorial layouts for both digital and print editions, working with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, as well as Excel. Coordinated with printer on page delivery and binding/signature considerations. A strong focus on producing a quality and error-free product in a fast-paced environment on a consistent basis.
