Primary officer of responsibility for Global Force Management of Military Police capabilities and supervisor of civilian personnel in support of Mission Assurance operations, Marine Forces Command, Naval Support Activity, Norfolk, VA.Served as Law Enforcement Integration officer charged with allocation of service-wide Military Police (MP) in support of Global requirements applied against United States Marine Corps (USMC) personnel. Provided direct liaison with Marine Forces Pacific and Headquarters Marine Corps offices to ensure accurate and supportable capabilities were met by available personnel and applied to Time Phased Force Deployment schedules. Additionally served as supervisor to civilian employees charged with responsibilities in the subject matter of Physical Security requirements, Antiterrorism preparedness, Emergency Management, Continuity of Operations, Destructive Weather preparedness, and other technical requirements associated with the aforementioned fields. Senior Staff Officer, Operations Section, I MEF, Camp Pendleton, CAServed as the senior Military Police officer for I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). Advised Commanding General and senior staff on Antiterrorism and Law Enforcement Integration matters and produced weekly threat briefs to the Commanding General and senior staff on local and regional threat activity, as well as threats to forward deployed Marines in the Afghanistan area of operations. Deployed to Afghanistan in support of I MEF (FORWARD) as the ATFP Officer while also serving as the staff security and technology support expert. Upon return to the United States, lead the effort to establish 1st Law Enforcement Battalion through the consolidation and reorganization of 4 existing Military Police Companies previously working under four separate chains of command. - Led antiterrorism working groups addressing threat and threat/vulnerability mitigation efforts, coordinated training for antiterrorism officers assigned to major subordinate commands within the I MEF chain of command. - Deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) as the ATFP lead for over 19K Marines in Southwest Afghanistan from 2010 - 2011. Acting as the lead for threat mitigation efforts and the assignment of advanced force protection and security technologies, prioritizing allocation of equipment and overseeing field support representative personnel charged with related maintenance. - Activated 1st Law Enforcement Battalion through the identification of personnel, equipment, billeting, administrative and logistics requirements associated with the task at hand and assembled a successful unit with operational deployable capabilities in advance of established timelines.
