Dan Martin is a technology leader who is passionate about building great things. Dan is particularly experienced in the financial, payments, and identity spaces, and has extensive experience on and leading innovation teams, as well as partnering with innovation teams to bring emerging technologies to market. With 25 years of experience, Dan has a proven track record of designing and delivering innovative, scalable, successful products and solutions.Currently, Dan is a Senior Director at Centene, where he leads Software Engineering for Web and Contact Center development. Previously, Dan was Principal Director at Envestnet, where he oversaw the API Center of Excellence and Developer Experience team, and drove the API product strategy for Envestnet and its business units. Prior to Envestnet, Dan was a Principal Architect at Early Warning, leading Zelle architecture during its first three years as live product, Payments architecture, Corporate Systems architecture, and the Innovations team. He also served as a Vice President at Mastercard, where he was the product owner of the API program known publicly as "Mastercard Developers". He was involved in the early creation of Mastercard's API platform and later drove the second generation of the program. Additionally, he was a member of the Developer Advisory Board at SAP, providing feedback and guidance on SAP's developer platform and tools alongside industry leaders including James Gosling and Tim O'Reilly. In his free time, he enjoys writing code for fun, spending time with family and friends, and tending to his farm where he raises sheep and chickens.
