Daniel (Dan) S. Munson – Dan is Associate VP Operational Excellence at Bisk. His background includes over 30 years at Honeywell and Storage Technology (now Sun Microsystems). Dan has consulted process improvement methodologies worldwide to the likes of BP-Alaska, Ryder System, 3M, Alcoa-Fujikura, Litton, Sumitomo, Lily, Amp, Omron-Mexico, AMP, Boeing, Philips-Austria, National/Panasonic-Japan, and Siemens. He is also talented in teaching the strategy, the culture, and the tools and techniques of Six Sigma. Dan is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, ASQ certified, and company certified. He is also an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer. He has been a keynote speaker on various process improvement topics at supplier symposia, conferences and via webinars relating Lean Six Sigma to manufacturing (investment castings, high-tonnage (35k and 50k ton presses) closed-die forgings, sheet metal, machine screws and fasteners, paint fabrication and paint application for business products, integrated circuits (“I.C. chips”) fabrication, fiber optics, opto-electronics, riveting, motors, precision machining, filters, printed circuit boards, tight-tolerance plastics, large aircraft assembly, and more), hospitals, government and military, operations management, oil exploration and extraction, telecommunications, call centers surface-mount and through-hole wave soldering, logistics, and supplier management.
