CyberWorx takes on a wide range of Air Force problems using human-centered design (HCD) and offers HCD education and outreach to the Department of Defense (DoD).- Transformed resourcing and budgeting across the Air Force Academy with an innovative product and service design strategy based on insights derived from 17 user interviews with 34 participants and refined during a 1.5 day design workshop with stakeholders.- Enabled over 400 contracting professionals to identify and assess sourcing solutions from over 4,000 vendors worldwide by leading user interviews, design workshops, and usability testing to design a cross-platform system with applications for desktop, table, and mobile. Our design was praised by senior Air Force leadership (including both the former and current Chief of Staff of the Air Force).- Modernized mission planning for Air Force pilots by conducting interviews, card sorts, task analysis, and usability testing to redesign and optimize planning software, which reduced errors and lowered time on task while ensuring consistency between the application and the hardware in the aircraft cockpit. - Facilitated creation of and alignment on design strategies for 10 projects by conducting contextual inquiries and interviews and leading in-person and remote design workshops with dozens of participants that included users, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

The team focused on implementing an LMS and enhancing course delivery by designing trainings and digital products that met the needs of faculty, staff, and cadets.- Saved over 915 hours of annual work for cadet assessments by using contextual inquiries, journey maps, prototypes, wireframes, and testing to design and develop two digital products.- Accumulated a 46.3% boost in traffic to a faculty resource website by leading a redesign effort that incorporated user interviews, personas, journey maps, information architecture, and wireframes.- Accelerated the adoption of a Learning Management System (LMS) by researching, conceptualizing, and designing over 17 web-based products used by more than 4,600 staff, faculty, and cadets. - Streamlined how 600 faculty submit cadet evaluations twice a year by conducting user research and leveraging analytics to determine how a web-based tool should behave to optimize the evaluation process based on user behavior.
