• As sole developer, designed and developed a new event-based loan ownership transaction system. Developed a data backfill script in Python for converting 500k loans into transactions, enabling historical data analysis and increasing data accuracy.• As part of 3-person Loan Model team, architecting and executing rebuilds of major internal tools and reports in Kotlin, as well as driving technical discussions about the future of the company’s data model. • Involved in design and implementation of Client Data Service from initial design through production deployment. Project completion improved both speed and data transfer efficiency of report processing, and code was significantly cleaner and more maintainable. • Involved in design and implementation of Accounting Service, an event-based overhaul of the internal company model of loan data, designed to better track loan data and history, as well as allow greater flexibility in loan data that can be represented. • Personal 20%-time efforts focused on improving codebase health: • Cleaned up 1500+ build and test compilation warnings + added a GitHub action to prevent new warnings from creeping in. • Led effort to update codebase from JDK 15 to JDK 17
