-Brewed a range of seven lagers on a 15 barrel system rotating between day and evening shifts.-Responsible for process from mashing in to transfer to conditioning tanks, including: ~Mashed in by hand, recirculated wort and manually emptied mash tun. ~Controlled steam jacketed kettle, added hops/finings and whirlpooled. ~Transferred yeast and racked cooled wort into glycol jacketed fermenters. ~Dosed in clarifying agents and transferred green beer to conditioning tanks.-Responsible for recording temperature and gravity throughout process and for maintaining overall quality.-Transfers were conducted through fixed pipework via PLC controlled pumps or through hoses with CO2 top pressure.-Cleaned/sterilized vessels via CIP, conducted boiler blow down at end of shift and responsible for general brewery cleaning and upkeep.-Unloaded delivery trucks and moved materials with fork trucks and pallet jacks.
