Created a front end pattern library and toolkit that can be consumed as a node package.Built out UI components including buttons, modals, dropdowns, collapses, and more using React.The library displays all variables and components and their states with code examples and documentation for easy use importing into projects.The CSS is written in SASS and uses BEM namespacing and atom/molecule/organism organization of blocks.Helped to implement the migration from Angular over to React.Worked on their front end SPA written in angular to build out new features and fix bugs.

I contracted for The Clymb developing eComm projects in Angular JS. I ported their Cart and Checkout process from legacy jquery/rails app to Angular/Rails API. I helped write much of the backend API endpoints and built out the front end.The Clymb used the SLIM templating for HTML5, Coffeescript for JS, and Sass for CSS3. Some of the tools for project management include Github, Trello, and Pivotal Tracker. I developed API endpoints in Ruby on Rails for consumption by the Angular JS app and iPhone app.

Served as technical lead and manager for the javascript and design teams. Coordinated and managed engineering requests while streamlining workflow for each department. Worked with my teams to develop a new front-end with better UX and code efficiencies using Spine JS. Organized our code repositories to make the iteration process faster. Implemented front-end integration testing using Nightwatch.js. Introduced a team design review process to increase visibility of the engineering teams progress.

Worked primarily on the front-end with HTML5, CSS3, and CoffeeScript. Implemented Jasmine javascript testing and Angular JS into the site. Used ruby on rails to build out the backend for many of the client side features. Contributed to the API for the Angular apps on the site. Co-created best practices and code structure for a site overhaul for CSS and Javascript to create a more maintainable code base. Accomplishments:* Reduced page load time by 4 seconds.* Implemented the Jasmine javascript testing framework into The Clymb app.* Built Clymb Adventures which includes a calendar widget that allows for date range selection.* Created an angular powered Basket, Login, and Product Recommendations App.* Built a system for dynamically loading javascripts asynchronously into a monolithic app.

At Clinicient I am responsible for designing and creating the user experience for PC, smart phone, and tablet. It is a product designed for physical therapists to make their jobs easier. The technologies I use are ASP.Net MVC 4 C#, HTML 5, CSS3, JS, and JSON. The team uses Agile, TDD / BDD, and continuous integration to do rapid development. Part of my job is to do rapid prototyping which I present and explain which prototype I believe will work best. I use responsive design to take advantage of a cross platform layout when I can. Most of the development process for me is spent writing javascript. The third party libraries I use are jQuery, Knockout, DHTMLx, and Wijmo.

This was a startup a close friend of mine created. The goal was to create an idea company that used branding to influence local culture and improve our local communities. My job was to network with local businesses, design, develop and deploy websites based on the brand my friend created. I managed and maintained websites using HTML5, CSS3, ASP.Net webforms, Javascript, and SQL. The company dissolved because we didn't have enough funds and cashflow was a lot slower than we expected. Although it was not successful I learned a lot about what it takes to starta business from an idea.

Took over the family business with my brother. While working here I developed the Point of Sale for the shop, it handled commercial and in store purchases, financial reporting, and inventory cataloging. As it was a small business I managed multiple employees, roasted coffee, imported coffee, served drinks (I can make a mean latte), and was in charge of marketing, and occasionally pretended to be a salesman. Won 2010's best small business of the year for the town of Grants Pass.

Project co-lead on the main site: TicketNetwork.com. Developed front-end (ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Javascript, JSON) and middle tier (C#) with a team. Helped develop a custom content management system capable of updating C#, HTML, CSS, XML, and Javascript on the fly. Wrote windows services and web services. Research and development of new web technologies for possible implementation. A solution I am most proud of is when I came up with the solution to fix a geotargeting performance issue using a server side windows service.

This is the company I started my professional career at. I started as a QA technician and moved my way up to developer in a year and a half. I owe a lot to my mentors and the resources they gave me access to. I learned the fundamentals of OOP while there. Here is a list of some of myachievements at this company: Involved in programming, quality assurance, client relations. Lead technician on multiple website and windows projects. Applications were for financial firms, ride share companies, insurance agencies, and websites for clients of many varieties. I becameproficient at .NET, SQL (triggers and stored procedures), O/R Mapping, Reporting, Web Services, Windows Services, E-commerce, Javascript, Atlas / AJAX, and much more. Learned to work with a team of developers and QA specialists.
