The Tamarindo Beach & Pool Crawl leaves every Sunday at 1:00PM from Sharky's. (come early for a pre-party at Sharky's from noon-1:00pm) The tour explores the hidden pools and beaches outside of Tamarindo.

My current role is to ensure the hostel runs smoothly and profitably. I oversee 5 members of staff and am responsible for training them and ensuring that they are confident with guests, handling cash and selling tours effectively. My other duties include communicating with suppliers, tour operators and ensuring the hostel is profitable. Customer satisfaction is paramount at the hostel and ensuring the guests are having an enjoyable time is something the staff and I pride myself on.

Managing one of the busier more popular restaurants in the popular holiday location of Tamarindo my role covers managing the waiters and the kitchen staff on a day to day basis. General overview of the restaurant and ensuring that the service levels are of top quality and ensuring food is delivered as described and in a timely manner. Ensuring profitability and upselling of extra drinks, starters and deserts is also an area where i excel. Another area of importance is ensuring there is a steady flow of 5* reviews on a number of review sites resulting in extra business. Balancing the register at the end of each shift dealing with a mix of currencies is also a challenge which i enjoy and am successful with. It is also my responsibility to ensure the staff hours are recorded accurately. I am also responsible for ensuring that the suppliers provide the correct quantities, prices and quality of goods we expect on a regular basis.
