Managing a team of six software engineers (direct reports) and a dotted line to a team of four engineers involved in a source code migration project. Currently also managing a team of 18 contractors that are supplementing my onshore engineers. Responsible for multiple build systems, frameworks, and application tools that enable our internal development teams to develop, build and deploy the UKG Pro Saas cloud application.Experience with JIRA Kanban boards using an Agile development process. For each of the three cells I manage, we have separate bi-weekly retros, daily standups and Kanban boards. Each cell controls the way they work separately from the others to give the teams ultimate flexibility and freedom to excel in their own way.

Responsible for developing and deploying customer specific functionality to the PRO Saas product. Worked with external clients to design and deliver a customized feature that fit their needs.

• Currently taking an existing ASP.NET web application and rewriting it to improve the performance and usability for its 30,000 users. This application resides in a web farm and is using a combination of C#, VB.NET, SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server Reporting Services.• I am also developing a series of SQL Server Reporting Services reports for our internal client managers so they can get the data they need on demand without our assistance.

• Responsible for integrating multiple .NET web applications into one themed site that can be spawned into partner sites. These sites run the exact same code, but use .NET themes to change the look for each partner.• Developed a .NET server control that uses a web service to create a common entry point for all our order pages.• Responsible for guiding other developer’s application architecture and assist in its implementation and general problem solving tasks when needed.

• Developed intranet applications for a user base of 4,000 employees. Applications were developed in ASP.NET using both VB.NET and C#. Visual Studio.NET is used for application development and Visio for Enterprise Architects for design documentation. • All reports are created in SQL Reporting Services using a SQL Server 2000 back end. I am responsible for database design in SQL Server as well as Deployment and ongoing bug fixes of the application. • Responsible for the administration of Webtrends reports and also the Mondosearch intranet web search tool.

• I was the CRYSTAL reports developer as well as the SQL Server 7 DBA. The reporting database was composed of heterogeneous data from an Oracle 8i and a SQL Server database. I used DTS packages to import the data into the reporting repository each night.• The web reporting application used ASP and Crystal Reports with a SQL Server backend.• Served as a DBA to a SQL Server 7.0 database. This database was used to mirror the production databases and served as the data source for reporting.

• Designed and implemented Crystal reports.• Created SQL Server 7 stored procedures and tables to support these reports.

• Designed and implemented a rebates and promotions system with a Visual Basic front end that allowed user’s to create promotions using “bubble logic”. I used ADO to save data to a SQL Server 7.0 database. A separate scheduled process compiled an ActiveX DLL that was then integrated into a web page using ASP and VBScript.• Created a sales reporting system in Visual Basic in wizard style with a SQL 6.5 back end database. It included the design and creation of about 78 Crystal reports.

• Designed a Visual Basic front end with an Access back end for a catalog-based company using phone salespeople. This application gave them the ability to search the product database, track quotes and process orders electronically.

• Maintained an Access database used for managing images. • Created a Visual Basic front end for the transport of images to and from our remote locations.
