When I was just starting out to play soccer, I was right handed and therefore naturally right footed, but I recognized that being left footed made you stand out, turned you into a coveted asset. I wanted to be different, to change the rules of how things work. So I decided from that day forward I was left footed. I expressed this to all of my coaches and teammates every chance I got so through this act of communication, I had solidified my choice. It made learning to play harder; I struggled and fought to perfect the decision that I had chosen, but it made me unique. Due to my creativity, I had differentiated myself from all the rest and established within me a level of confidence that I had never exercised before.Since the time of my childhood years, I have employed this mentality over and over. I recently spent a summer interning with AngioDynamics, focusing my efforts on planning and promoting for their St. Jude Gala. I spent time prospecting and cold calling local businesses to take part in the event and also started their first Instagram account to manage content to raise interest, support, and aid in marketing for the gala. I also created the first product binders for the tradeshows they attend, to simplify, organize and keep an account of the company's products.I enjoy being creative and having the opportunity to develop and explore new ideas. As a child I marketed myself as a scarce, but valued commodity to interested coaches. I changed my personal brand and created my own story. At AngioDynamics I sought out ways to improve the organization and take advantage of new opportunities, all of which I can continue do for you. For me, it’s not enough to meet the expectations. My goal is to help you exceed them.
