Over the course of my work at CPL, I gained a throrough and comprehensive understanding of the international fragrance and beauty product industry, as well as the prevailing landscape surrounding online marketplaces and international distribution and compliance. On my watch, the company grew to a £5m turnover and established itself in the UK, France, Germany, the USA and Japan.

Whilst at Pump Court, I read an analysis of a past VAT-law query, analysed the relevant legislation and provided a draft written response to the query with supporting evidence. Additionally, I observed and reviewed a live tax query under the direction of William Massey QC.
