Currently I work for a home automation company by the name of Control4. I am a Quality Assurance Engineer that tests hardware (pool controllers, lighting panels/switches, touchscreen devices, etc.) and software based applications running in flash, iOS, Android, Windows, and Linux. I work closely with both software and hardware engineers to ensure understanding and improve operation and functionality of our products. I also work on a team of 10+ individuals to complete large scale testing cycles of our current product line.Prior to working with the wonderful products and people at Control4, I worked for a small business that repairs vehicle instrument panels. I had the privilege of fulfilling a lot of roles, including Sales, Marketing, Repairs, Computer Technician, and Customer Service. Due to the small team of people it was necessary to become whatever was needed at the time. In terms of what I can bring to a company’s table, I can sum it up with this. Enjoying work is not something that just happens. It must be worked towards. Through positive interactions and fostering companionship with co-workers, any job/career can become a very rewarding experience. I strive to create that. Happiness is a frame of mind and everyone can work towards creating an enjoyable work environment. Besides my dedication to creating a pleasant work environment, I also enjoy new tasks outside of my usual responsibilities and look for ways to improve my knowledge and skills.I enjoy what I do very much, but please don’t hesitate to contact me if I sound like a person you would want to speak with.
