The Miracle League is a non-profit organization that provides children and adults with special needs the opportunity to play baseball in an organized league. We built the first rubberized ADA accessible ball field in Southern California. Engel Family Field, a Little Padres Park, at San Dieguito Park opened in May 2007. Our second location is at Bell Middle School in San Diego. We currently serve over 300 special needs athletes each season.

Launched in January 2018, PatientTrueTalk.com is the only peer-to-peer registry where patients and/or their caregivers can create profiles with as much information as they feel comfortable sharing, and find matching profiles based on algorithms created by some of the country’s top clinical oncologists. Patients/caregivers can also search along their diagnosis/treatment parameters, refining their search based on the results provided. They can then send secure messages directly to those who they believe represent the closest match. Once a connection is made, the two parties can speak off-line and hopefully form a friendship. My profile is the first “patient advocate” included on the site.

I have provided financial and operating consulting services to clients throughout the United States including CollabRx, a Palo Alto-based life sciences company; Yagadol Ventures, a San Diego-based start-up drug discovery company; Onyx Gaming with respect to an investment in an Indiana gaming company; the Hardage Group, a national hotel developer and operator based in San Diego (CFO for seven months); and Aliana, a large land development project in Houston.

The Holdsworth Group is a trusted and sophisticated capital provider, advisor and curator of alternative investments for family offices and corporations worldwide. In addition, I was COO of THG Advisory Services; and COO/Chief Compliance Officer for THG Securities Advisors, manager of a hedge fund.

Pitch it Forward’s mission is to challenge high school athletes to lead more effectively in the communities in which they live, learn and play.
