Dan Farley is a C-Suite executive with a successful career in hospitality, who proved that he could simultaneously engineer the growth of both a start-up and turnaround situation. In 2010, after decades in hotel management, Dan started what is now a successful niche business serving college and professional sports teams. In 2015, he took a majority interest in PJ Enterprises-Final Finish and turned that operation around. Dan would like to leverage this track record as the CEO or C-Suite executive in a new start-up, growth or turnaround situation. Some hallmarks of Dan as a national recognized, locally accomplished leader:1. Discipline and drive to manage all the metrics associated with a business, including benchmarking sales and customer engagement. 2. Skilled in applying large company approaches to smaller companies, where instituting new reporting is often a critical first step. 3. Fully dedicated to “doing the right thing” by his team. Disciplined and explicit about goals, while pragmatic about expectations. Can draw on long-standing relationships to build a top sales or operations team quickly. 4. Hands-on and focused on technical detail; deploys outside experts only as needed.5. Patient at negotiations, focused on win-wins; achieves alignment among diverse constituents while maintaining a focus on results. 6. Recognized by organizations ranging from Marriott Hotels to his local rotary club. The COVID-19 Pandemic has enabled Dan to show the best of his business character. In response to a request from his hotel owners for most associates to be off payroll and benefits by March 31st, Dan wrote a business case to support six additional months of benefits. Dan was able to justify this expense in order to maximize the long-term value of the hotel asset, in addition to promoting associate well-being. For both of his smaller businesses, Dan obtained PPP and SBA loans, the latter of which he personally secured. Specialties:* Project/Operations Management
