• Developed service-oriented architecture for modernizing an outdated legacy system from the ground up. Pitched the modernization to the client through a case study demonstrating why it was better to redevelop than continue to patch the system with regular fixes. Promoted a platform agnostic format so that the system can run on any desktop or mobile device and is flexible for future products. • Led the development of a new Java/J2EE-based system and coordinated the integration with two legacy systems for the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).• As a wearer of many hats, including Scrum Master, technical lead, system architect, and subject-matter expert, he leveraged his technical and managerial skills to delivery a user-friendly software system that not only introduced compliance to the paper reduction act but also facilitated error-prone manual processes.
