Senior Technical Data Editor
CurrentConduct quality reviews on data containing various products/machines (forklifts, warehousing equipment, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, and aerial work platforms) and their sub-assemblies as per vehicle make, model, generation, and type differentiation for parts analysis. The evaluation involves an analysis to ensure accurate and reliable data which is then validated as the final step of the process. Perform research to develop expertise and knowledge of specific manufacturers and/or equipment types and determine the fast-moving items (serviceable parts) based on technical parameters of spare parts. Verify correctness to parts and descriptions that are vague or incomplete and ensure accuracy of identifiers of consumable items. Utilize various technical documents, product information and brand-specific documents to maintain an accurate spare part database per the company’s standards. The same database is published on e-commerce platforms that are used by dealers, customers, and internal user groups (such as sourcing, product development team, etc.). Follow the company's standards, process flow, and timelines to deliver consistent output which should be easy to use/interpret for end customers. Utilize MS Access to add additional identifiers such as serial number ranges and other equipment information as well as part descriptions that are vague or incomplete, or rename to “common” descriptions.
