I worked primarily as a Design, Integration, and Test engineering intern (DI&T) for the Actuators group which required me to design the fixturing method for a Full System Demo Test (FSDT) of a Thrust Vector Actuator (TVA) system. This also required me to develop the test definition and communicate with other departments that would be involved in this test such as the Mechanical Engineering, Propulsion Engineering, and Electrical Engineering departments. This gave me a lot of experience using NX, Teamcenter, GD&T, TipQA, Accuris, and much much more.

I am tasked with helping to design a drone capable of taking off vertically while also being able to fly horizontally using engines that rotate direction similar to that of a V22 Osprey. More specifically I am tasked with researching and designing the aircraft’s airfoil and the mechanisms used to rotate the engines vertically and horizontally.

Was tasked with placing Blade Tip Timing instrumentation on multiple stages of a compressor while ensuring each probe had a great reading and designing around restrictions while considering the assembly process to ensure ease of maintenance. Created an NX model to provide a visual aid which was then uploaded to the project's main assembly model. Gave multiple presentations showcasing the work I've done to subject matter experts along with results I found when doing so which led to an investigation into the design of a related system.
