I'm responsible for day to day interactions with all of our customer base in Port Fourchon.

Larose, Louisiana

I was responsible for surveying, setting up, and injecting various chemicals into oil field products to meet the customer’s specs to be sold or stored. I would calculate dosages needed and maintain correct amounts throughout the job. I was on call 24/7, reponsible for a company truck and credit card. I dealt with H2S on a weekly basis. I’ve done jobs on barges, foreign flagged ships, refineries, tank farms, etc. along the Mississippi River and surrounding areas. I worked with alot of chemicals that are DOT regulated, so Ive filled out shipping manifest and stayed current with DOT regulations on those chemicals. Ive built and maintained equipment crutial to the jobs. I would also fill in for the Operations Coordinator when he wasnt available.

I was responsible for taking customers’ orders and purchasing what was needed from various vendors from around the United States. I dealt with all kinds of customers on the phone and face to face with walk ins every day. I found and ordered everything from paper to pipe and parts for the oil and gas industry (oil rigs and vessels). I was responsible for a company credit card and a company truck. I did purchasing and invoicing and I was on call sales call rotation.

South East Louisiana

I was responsible for all aspects of the Port Fourchon location including but not limited to on call 24/7, daily inventory counts, maintaining inventory based on customer needs, shipping and receiving, logistics, maintaining company equipment(service), inside and outside sales, invoicing and purchasing, time management, customer returns, etc. It was my duty to keep a positive relationship with dispatchers and company men from different companies to ensure that jobs ran smoothly. I took care of everything for FMI in Fourchon by myself. I also ran Pascagoula, Ms and Morgan City, La on occasion. I worked for FMI for three years and never had a complaint or order that wasn’t processed in a timely manner.
