In this role, I produced written marketing materials that aid graduate recruitment, such as faculty research profiles, newsletters, and email copy. Many of these deliverables relied upon interviews with faculty, alumni, and students that are arranged and conducted by me. I also contributed writing and editing support to other projects, such as speeches, talking points, and the Dean’s Unit Annual Report, a comprehensive document aggregating important organizational and financial developments. This was a fully remote position and required the use of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

I developed a strategic communications plan to help the organization grow their membership base and build their profile as the leading authority on the EdD. Specifically, I detailed messaging strategies and events that build upon the organization's established reputation to achieve these goals. As part of that plan, I proposed and delivered materials to be used in profiling existing membership in the organization's newsletter, including a style guide, questionnaire, and mock feature. I wrote content for the organization's Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts for the month of August. Finally, as part of a broader effort to overhaul the organization's website design, I reviewed over 700 items in their resource center and proposed modifications to how it was structured in order to enhance navigability.

I designed and delivered courses in Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication. I created over 70 hours of professional presentations, provided verbal and written feedback to students on their work, and facilitated group discussions of instructional material. I also mentored junior researchers as they navigated the beginning steps of academic inquiry. Prior to being hired for this position, I had accrued over five years of experience teaching undergraduate students in a similar role.
