4 month short term contract. Lead the development, coordination and implementation of the Roy Hill Health, Safety and Environment Plan across the whole Roy Hill Project. Promote, coordinate and implement the Roy Hill Health, Safety and Environment programs, initiatives, related policies and procedures in consultation with the Project Team and relevant committees. Provide relevant advice, support and service where required.

SOLE TRADERDelivering a range of consultancy services in the areas of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality including:Risk management processes and procedures, facilitation of risk workshops and preparation of risk registersEnvironmental, OHS and quality improvement objectives, targets and management programsCompliance obligations registersHSEQ system training materialsCorrective and preventive action systemsHSEQ monitoring plans Internal audit programs; including third party contractors and suppliersFacilitation of management reviewsProject ManagementEngaged by MILUC Civil Pty Ltd and sub-contracting to the Water Corporation WA at the Bruce Rock STED Scheme Project to develop a management system compliant with AS4801, ISO18001 and ISO9001Successful completion of the Water Corporation’s Contractor Mobilisation and Implementation Audits with minimal corrective actions resulting in a reduction of the overall project risk category classification. Development and implementation of the project CRAW.

Accountable to the Safety and Environment Manager at the Tropicana Gold Mine, responsible for the Planning, Coordination, Training and Development of the safety and environment management systems including procedures.Provide one-on-one and team coaching in areas of risk assessment, interactions, inductions, communication, hazard recognition and inspectionsMonitor compliance pertaining to the use and application of site safety and risk management system and the effectiveness of controls (includes major hazard critical controls)Facilitation of Major Hazard workshops and processes for the development of Bow Tie Risk Assessments to identify major hazards and critical controlsDevelopment of a suite of project management implementation plans and schedules for the Tropicana Safety and Environment Management Systems complying to internal, OSHA 18001 and other regulatory requirementsDevelopment of project implementation plans and schedules for Tropicana audits (internal and external), actions, controls, and close outIdentify opportunities, re-design processes using best methods / technology, implement solutions and measure impact to improve / maintain operational effectiveness within operationProvide monthly reports and updates on the status of projects

Employed and situated in head office to provide leadership and strategy on a national scale for Westrac’s HSEQ program. Responsible for implementing, driving and supporting successful HSEQ risk management strategies and to drive continual improvement of the HSEQ risk control framework

Appointed as a Consultant to deliver safety and risk consultancy services including inspections, risk assessments, management systems development and customised training to clients in various industries. Successfully assisted many businesses improve their knowledge, understanding and systems within the realms of HSEQ.

Employed as the HSE manager and accountable for all matters relating to Health, Safety and Environment within the organisation. Improved HSE performance and developed strategies to enable best practice.
