At United Way I perform data analysis, GIS mapping, and data management work that informs leaders of community needs and trends. I also participate in cross-sector data sharing and Model Community governance to ensure that data products are responsive to needs and that we are promoting an equitable society.

At COH I drew upon my background in healthcare administration, data analytics, and GIS mapping in working with stakeholders to understand child and community health issues in Austin and Central Texas. I ensured that data was managed in a HIPAA and FERPA compliant manner, created analyses and GIS mapping projects, managed operations, and essentially acted as a jack of all trades in a small non-profit organization.

At the Integrated Care Collaboration (ICC) I served in several roles: - Developed and reported metrics to ICC stakeholders.- Performed data analysis, program evaluation, research, and other decision support services. - Coordinated workflow and prioritized projects for the ICC Analytics Team.- Consulted with stakeholders on solutions for information retrieval.- Marketed ICC information technology systems.- Performed needs assessment, consultation and training related to systems implementation, and ongoing operations.- Provided training and support to users of all ICC information systems.

I performed several roles during my time at ATCIC: - Supervised and trained a team of Service Coordinators, employment trainers, and support staff.- Planning, budgeting and authorization of voucher funding for financial assistance to consumers.- Facilitated quality improvement initiatives, including the creation of a centralized CQI team and several process improvement teams.- Developed and administered needs assessment tools.- Facilitated the creation and implementation of comprehensive service plans for consumers with Developmental and other disabilities.- Coordinated access to resources for consumers, including residential, vocational, medical, behavioral, financial, social & family services.- Performed quality assurance audits on charts and at job sites. - Performed community living skills rehabilitation training, employment skills training, and case management services for consumers with mental health diagnoses.

During these years, after graduating from college with a BA in Psychology, I worked in the Mental health/Developmental disability field in various roles such as direct care, case management, employment training, supportive housing, etc. These experiences of providing and coordinating direct services are something I have never forgotten and inform my thoughts on how to best provide services to people with mental illness, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities.
