In my role as a Finished Product QC Supervisor, I managed and mentored a team of 10 Senior QC Analysts and QC Analysts to ensure the release of high quality product to customers. I accomplished this by ensuring the results for all approved batches were within specification as well as trend with all GLP guidelines being followed for the testing. As well as people management, I specialized in the investigation of OOS/OOT results using Trackwise as well as technical troubleshooting whenever problems arose during testing. I also corresponded with other departments to respond to any queries that may arise from other sites, customers and regulatory authorities as well as supporting the manufacturing and packaging departments to ensure supply of products to customers.I also was involved in the identification and implementation of appropriate corrective actions, change controls and updates to SOP's to continuously improve the processes in the QC laboratory. During regulatory and customer audits I was a technical expert for the QC laboratory.

As a QC analyst, I tested finished products using HPLC for related substance, assay, dissolution, and content uniformity analysis using Agilent and Waters systems involving an advanced knowledge of Empower. I also performed GC and UPLC analysis and UV/Vis spectroscopy, TLC separations, physical testing and wet chemistry techniques including various identification tests such as FTIR and Karl Fisher titrations.As an experienced testing analyst, I often performed troubleshooting to resolve testing difficulties.I was part of a right first time project which identified and implemented a number of improvements and learnings to improve the right first time rate in the QC laboratory.
