In working with the Career Center at Mississippi State University I have had the opportunity to facilitate professional skill-building as well as job-readiness with students within the College of Education and the College of Arts & Sciences. I have also played a key role in the conception and growth of Mississippi State University's Engineering on the Coast program based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College-Jackson County campus.

Beginning as a Graduate Assistant, I was promoted into the position of Tutorial Coordinator, then Academic Counselor, and finally Assistant Director of Athletic Academic Support Services through the course of my time within the department.

In this role I assisted clients and salespeople with marketing materials as well as updated cost documents. I communicated with factories and suppliers in Brazil, China and Vietnam. I also supervised the upkeep, set up of samples and contract workers necessary to maintain over 5,000 square feet of prime showroom space in High Point, NC for fall and spring markets.
