Shipping, Receiving And Inventory Control Manager
Current- Manage a team of 3 Supervisors and teams of 35-50 associates depending on volume and business needs-Manage inbound receipts of import and domestic production- Review open work-in-process reports daily and ensure that merchandise is pulled promptly to service open orders by the start date- Assure proper inventory transactions are made to account for the movement of the inventory- Manage inventory in multiple physical locations including 3PL facility and virtual locations for FOB shipments- Perform cycle counts and complete inventories to ensure inventory accuracy- Troubleshoot and root cause inventory inaccuracies and develop processes to prevent future occurrences- Monitor and manage space requirements to ensure efficient use of space and efficient processes- Review the open orders report and follow up with necessary departments to meet our Service Level Agreement- Responsible for all outbound shipments- Responsible for adhering to vendor guidelines, manuals, and routing guides- Manage team to efficiently meet fluctuating demands of order deadlines while minimizing labor hours- Measure performance based on customer start-ship dates- Develop checks and balances to minimize shipping errors and subsequent vendor chargebacks- Mentor and develop team members - Identify and drive continual process improvements- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
