Servicing Litigation Counsel primarily responsible for managing high volume of nationwide state court, federal court and bankruptcy court litigation arising from single family residential mortgage loan servicing portfolio in addition to certain other nonlitigation-related duties. Coordination of the management of cases between internal business clients, in-house counsel, and outside counsel from inception of the matters through to efficient resolution.Responsibilities:􀁺 Manage a large volume of actively litigated matters􀁺 Oversee an in-house team of litigation specialists􀁺 Process and develop related strategic initiatives􀁺 Liaise with internal business unit leaders throughout the company on key problem issues􀁺 Work with and provide clear direction to outside counsel to drive matters to resolution quickly and cost effectively􀁺 Manage reporting and have a meaningful approach to process improvement􀁺 Implement cost controls􀁺 Review, create, and/or enhance policy, procedure, and administrative processes

Licensed to practice law since 1983. Currently licensed in California, Michigan, Missouri and TexasPractice focused on Commercial Litigation and, in particular, Creditors' Rights, Commercial Collections, Prejudgment Remedies and Enforcing Judgments.In addition, I have substantial experience handling claims arising out of failed attorney-client relationships, e.g., the representation of clients pursuing claims against attorneys and law firms for legal malpractice, the representation of other attorneys and law firms pursuing the collection of unpaid accounts owed by former clients, etc.Offices located in the metropolitan areas of Kansas City (Missouri), Los Angeles (California) and the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Also, with the assistance of local counsel, I regularly assists clients with matters in other domestic and international jurisdictions.

Special appointment by the Jackson County Executive and Jackson County Legislature to review and make recommendations regarding the spending of Community-Backed Anti-Drug Tax funds.
