In my current role I serve as a member of RADAR’s Financial Monitoring Group (FMG) as a Quantitative Analyst II. During the past year I have worked to develop and produce a monthly pandemic dashboard in Tableau using the RADAR Data Warehouse, SAS, SQL and bash scripting in the CADRE environment. My knowledge of data retrieval techniques and the data structure was critical to the timely completion of this project. I have also authored reports and given presentations to the Philadelphia SRC and Retail LISCC teams on the content of these dashboards. Prior to joining the FMG, I worked in the Statistics department at the Philadelphia Federal Reserve bank. I was a Financial Analyst for three years, during which time I was the lead analyst of the Y-14Q/A collections. I spent the next two years working as a System Support analyst, and during that time I developed applications such as an automated data comparison and email verification tool using C#, .NET, and VBA. I also assisted with updating existing Microsoft and Oracle SQL queries to improve performance. I also served as an instructor for the Statistics Data Retrieval Techniques workshops, as well as co-chairing the Extended Editing and Analysis Workshop. These workshops trained Statistics staff from all 12 Reserve Banks as well as the board in beginner and advanced data retrieval and data analysis skills. Data has been a passion of mine since I began my career here at the Federal Reserve. Throughout my career I have taken on increasingly technical and data related roles and tasks. I am passionate about data structure, metadata and being able to leverage my technical skills to do work both that I enjoy and that provides value to my users. I believe that I will be a strong contributor, quick learner and passionate team member given the opportunity.
