My duties include servicing and maintaining city equipment; such as, PM services, brakes, starters… I work on everything from hydraulic systems to gas and diesel engine repairs. I use a wide variety of diagnostic equipment in order to resolve many issues with the equipment. I also am responsible for dealing with outside venders to acquire the necessary.

Mesa Citation Service Center (department 509)

• All phases of aircraft painting in department 509 (Mesa Citation Service Center);
• I worked with the customers, service manager, mechanic leads, and the composite lead to help estimate damage costs and coordinate paint work through the paint shop.
• I ordered all materials for the day-to-day operations of the paint shop, mixed and matched colors as needed, assured mill-thickness of all materials met standards before and after application, being the only painter I.

Wichita, Kansas Area

• All phases of aircraft painting in department 573 (Wichita Citation Service Center); I worked on a team of 9 painters in department 573; sometimes preforming prep-work for others, painting, and detailing the final.
• Repairs; door frames, leveling panel replacement, and flight controls to assure proper fit and balance.
• Painting; installed “N” numbers and other identification markings, panel repaints, large and small spot-ins, laid out stripes for repair and repaints.
• Other duties; mixing and matching colors, interior detailing and touch-ups, and miscellaneous customer squawks prior to delivery.

Wichita, Kansas Area

Grade 6 aircraft painter; sand and fill duties, new paint detailing, small parts painting,“N” number installations, spot-ins, and some door frame repairs. After my first year, I moved to the flight-line and worked in per-delivery. I was responsible for customer squawks that included all types of repairs from spot repairs to detailing the aircraft inside.

Heavy collision repair on all types of equipment, from stretching frames to extensive sheet metal repairs and wiring issues. This required the use of many specialty tools, like pneumatic rivet guns, air-hammers, welders, ohm meters, measuring devices, and… I have also had extensive experience in all types of fiberglass repair, paint processes, and some.

Responsibilities/Duties My duties consisted of managing the paint department, training new employees, quality control, customer relations, and setting SOP’s for my department. This included estimating repairs for paint work, service work, and major wrecks; I worked with numerous insurance adjusters in order to assure the vehicles were restored to OEM.
