Key role player in tactical planning for improvement of existing equipment and processes, new equipment design and integration, and reduction of environmental concerns associated with finishing processes. Advise and provide process support to manufacturing groups. Responsible for reporting on various performance and environmental indices for the finishing areas. Assist manufacturing group in development of training needs. Develop PM schedules for proper maintenance of paint equipment and automation, and assist in training of paint maintenance personnel. Fulfill role as Project Manager for all new paint equipment installation and upgrades, as well as continuous improvement tasks related to product finishing.

Supervised the construction, and then managed the day-to-day operations, of a state-of-the-art powder coat finishing line for a custom fabricator / job shop. Responsible for all production, process and project engineering, logistics and maintenance functions, relative to the Finishing Group.

Management over the finishing operations for a Tier-1 automotive supplier of reinforced plastic exterior body components. Supervision of 4 Team Leaders and 100+ employees associated with the production and maintenance functions for the pretreatment, paint, finesse and packaging operations of automotive body panels to multiple major automotive assembly plants. Project Manager for several projects related to the improvement of water quality for pretreatment, paint application automation and reduction of environmental concerns related to finishing processes.

Supervision, coordination and planning of all technical projects, PM and PDM schedules and technical staffing for a Tier 1, automotive finishing department utilizing robotics, rotary atomization and air spray/HVLP technologies for application of coatings on automotive body panels.
