After attending South Dakota State University, I was hired on at Big Game Treestands. At the time, the company was in its infancy. Started out doing everything from unloading the trucks to bending the iron and stacking the pallets. At the same time, the 2 owners and I were rapidly growing a bulk vending company. I would split time between the 2 companies, however much of my time was spent trying to increase our visibility with Diamond Vending. In 2003 I was moved into the regional sales manager roll with Big Game Treestands as we were looking to sell the vending company. By 2005, I decided to buy the vending company myself and I resigned from my position at Big Game. Near the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009, I broke down the vending company into pieces and sold it to various vending companies throughout the upper midwest.
