• Clinical systems programme representation at all relevant executive boards.• Leading the strategic development and implementation of the clinical systems strategy to ensure alignment with national and local direction, keeping a focus on patient care at all times.• Line managing and developing a team of 4, and matrix managing IT project teams. • Supplier and contract management of national systems suppliers on behalf of the CCG and 5 partner organisations.• Successful procurement and fast rollout of several technologies across Suffolk as Covid response measures.• Subject matter expert and speaker at annual national clinical systems conferences. • Managing clinical systems migration across Suffolk under the GP Systems of Choice and then GP IT Futures programme. Over 40 successful system migration projects to date.• Management and development of multiple joint systems projects with partner organisations.• Joint product and budget management selecting suppliers based on needs analysis and budget constraints.• Responsible for strategic direction and development of clinical systems roadmap, ensuring both suppliers and system users meet national requirements and deadlines alongside local strategic initiatives.• Ensuring team direct support for systems users, helping to procure and implement new technologies to ensure they can meet the needs of service users, e.g. Electronic Prescriptions, online access to patient records, and more recently practices being prepared for issues related to electronic Covid passports.• Extraction and analysis of data to support national programmes and funding applications.

Managing deployments of SystmOne, including configuration, project and change management, training and support. Working on ongoing projects for GP Maturity to keep practices up to date on changing systems and functionality. Chairing ongoing usergroup meetings and facilitating inter-practice working.Working on various projects across the CCG including Emis Web and other clinical initiatives and working with practices on IT skills and training requirements.Creating and writing reports, protocols, documents to be published to practices centrally to ensure standardisation of data.

Training end users on Microsoft office, SystmOne and Choose & Book. Creating training materials and e-learning materials, project and change managing training in system deployments, providing advice and support. Also system configuration and designing processes and procedures for best implementation of the system.

Contract management with all clinical system suppliers, line management of Clinical Systems Support Team, working with providers and local services to promote interoperability between systems, project managing clinical systems projects.
