Key AchievementLed the automation execution team in successful delivery of High Volume Validation in Pre and Post silicon environments for Intel’s latest 3D XPoint based memory technology Optane, a ~$4 billion disruptive technology. High Volume Validation is an intricate orchestration of readiness for the birth of the chip. 50-100 systems have to be in place and ready to execute tests in automation at “power-on exit”. New silicon isn’t available before power-on thus readiness must use emulation & simulation to prepare as much of the stack (hardware, firmware, IFWI, BIOS, OS, test-content, etc.) as possible in advance; a critical milestone for Intel’s PLC.
