I am an experienced strategy and communications consultant, specialising in home affairs, social policy and public sector work. I am expert in bringing good policy and communications together to create effective public engagement across multiple channels. I am currently working with the National Police Chiefs Council and Counter Terrorism Policing on implementing improvements following the Manchester Arena attack and public inquiry. I was previously with the Bank of England leading internal and external engagement on a major change programme. I have also worked as a Senior Associate at Crest Advisory, Head of Communications for UK Sport, supported Baroness Louise Casey on a number of independent reviews and reports, and spent eight years in senior communications roles in government in the then Central Office of Information and Department for Communities and Local Government (now Department for Levelling Up).I have wide experience across strategy, policy and communications including news and reputation management; stakeholder engagement; speech, report and article writing; public and parliamentary affairs; media training; and am particularly interested in communications research, insight and analysis.
