In this role I provided generalist support and maintenance for a number of bespoke and packaged systems and hardware, ranging from mobile computer scan-guns, to million dollar product sorting machinery and a variety of desktop applications and systems in between in Pumpkin Patch's New Zealand DC situated in East Tamaki, Auckland.I was also responsible for maintaining the company's fleet of legacy retail stock-take equipment and the store-side module of their stock-taking system, providing support during and after business hours for stores running their annual or biannual stock-takes. I provided first-level support for the Kerry Logistics staff operating Pumpkin Patch's warehouse systems in two of their China warehouses.Among other accomplishments and duties at Pumpkin Patch I was the primary technical resource for the piloting and eventual full company roll-out of Brickstream in-store Traffic Counting Sensors, being responsible for their initial configuration, on-site calibration and on-going operation in over 100 Pumpkin Patch stores across Australia and New Zealand, as well as being one of the primary drivers behind establishing an I.T. department wiki in an attempt to bring cohesion to the teams disparate technical documentation.

The primary responsibility of this role is the support, maintenance and enhancing Croxley's core ERP suite (“Focus” by Pronto Software) using its proprietary 4GL, while also maintaining & supporting in-house applications developed using VB.Net. As and when needed also assisting other members of the IT team in resolving various infrastructure issues. Currently actively pursuing process improvement within the IT team including the establishment of a systems & processes WIKI, devising workflow / service standards and practices, while also revising and enhancing Croxley's application of our chosen job tracking and management software (Numara Track-It!) for more effective task management.

Primarily employed as a VBA/Access & VB.NET programmer, in this position I performed a number of roles as needed - from Software Developer, to Project Manager, to Client Liaison, Technical Advisor and Best Practices evangelist.

Developed and maintained applications and utilities designed to support an as yet unreleased natural language project using VBA and Visual C++. Provided supporte and enhanced the company's accounting and image enhancing software.
