With over 17 years of experience in cybersecurity across government, public, and private sectors, I am currently leading the Managed Detection & Response Operations team at Sophos, a global leader in next-generation cybersecurity solutions. In this role, I supervise operational tasks and provide day-to-day oversight for threat analysts, oversee investigations and response activities during security incidents, and communicate effectively with stakeholders of all levels.I have demonstrated expertise in network and host-based intrusion analysis, incident response processes, digital forensics, and malware handling, as well as a strong background in engineering and configuring security equipment, developing training and testing curriculums, and aligning cybersecurity program strategy with various frameworks, such as NIST, CMMC, ISO, NERC CIP, and NATO STANAGs. I hold a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, and several advanced certifications, such as Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Network Defense Architect, and Certified Software Expert - ArcSight Analyst. I am passionate about staying current on attacker tools, tactics, and procedures, and producing indicators of compromise (IOCs) that can help protect our customers from sophisticated and dynamic cyber threats. I am also driven to deliver results that improve operations and productivity, even in stressful and austere conditions.
