This position drives strategy to support proactive EHS and Risk Management activities to drive results and best practices throughout the organization. This position also drives the global programs designed to integrate facilities into alignment with Allegion’s best practices, reduce and/or eliminate Allegion’s legacy remediation exposure, support regulatory compliance, and drive improvement and consistency in sustainability reporting. Of equal importance, this position is responsible to strategically lead Allegion’s global non-benefit insurance programs which includes risk assessment, program implementation and monitoring of their effectiveness. This position is a key resource in advising Allegion’s business management teams on the identification and management of risk exposures.

This position supports proactive EHS activities to drive results and best practices throughout the organization. The Global EHS Compliance, Sustainability, and Audit Manager will help drive the global programs designed to ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and country environmental, health and safety regulations and will help lead Allegion’s center of excellence to drive improvement and consistency in regulatory compliance and sustainability reporting.

Tasked with helping drive the global programs designed to ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and country environmental, health and safety regulations and help lead Allegion’s center of excellence to drive improvement and consistency in regulatory compliance, including the areas of waste management, air emission management, finishing operations and wastewater treatment. Also working to help lead the internal audit program, work on remediation sites and drive and manage the environmental stewardship program that is critical for Allegion’s environmental stock rating. Function in a team environment with other members of the Corporate EHS Team, Regional and site EHS professionals as a technical leader on global operational environmental regulations and other environmental projects worldwide. Critical member of the due diligence and transactional team to assist Allegion’s growth targets and minimize long term liabilities.

Responsible for all environmental activities at the site. To include compliance with state issued air permit, air permit modification request, developing corrective actions, organization of environmental files, implementation of ISO 14001 certifiable environmental program, IDEM Environmental Stewardship Program, LQG requirements, SARA 312 reporting, SARA 313 reporting, and supervision of Class C waste water treatment plant.

Responsible for all environmental activities at the site and the production coatings lab. To include compliance with state issued air permit, air permit modification request, developing corrective actions, organization of environmental files, implementation of ISO 14001 certifiable environmental program, SARA 312 reporting, SARA 313 reporting, and supervision of Class C waste water treatment plant.

Responsible for all areas of environmental and safety departments. Environmental areas include compliance with Title V permit, Title V permit modification request, stack testing protocol, developing corrective actions, organization of environmental files, development of an environmental program, SARA 312 reporting, SARA 313 reporting, and Air Emission Inventory reporting. Safety areas include compliance with all OSHA regulations, development of a safety program, development of a safety team and preliminary work for VPP certification.

Responsible for all safety compliance issues in addition to the Environmental Coordinator duties. Safety responsibilities include developing safety program, industrial hygiene testing, safety SOP development, OSHA compliance, internal enforcement of safety standards, and injury tracking. Environmental responsibilities include preparation of all paperwork relevant to facilities Title V air permit, NPDES water permit, and various solid waste permits. Responsible for facilities reporting requirements, including SARA 312, SARA 313, STEPS, and Biennial reports. Perform all required environmental training. Conduct environmental audits of waste vendors. Directly supervise a two million gallon a month waste water treatment plant to insure compliance with all state and federal regulations. Cross-consult between three other Roll Coater facilities on issues of permit requirements, reporting issues, and waste disposal. Facility resource for OSHA standards.
