Dan has served as Director of Taxes for Sunrider International in Torrance, California for 15 years. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for a number of years. Sunrider develops, manufactures, and sells high quality herbal-based foods and beverages, cosmetics and household products through wholly owned affiliates in 30+ countries. Dan was previously a Director in the International Services Group at KPMG in Century City (1991-1998). He has extensive experience advising multinational businesses and high net worth individuals. Prior to that, he served as a Tax Manager with Arthur Andersen in Los Angeles (1986–1991) and in Houston (1984–1986). Dan has been a CPA/JD for over 25 years. He is a Board Certified Tax Attorney in California and is also a member of the Texas Bar. Dan holds a BBA from the University of Cincinnati and a JD from the University of Houston. He has published articles in various domestic and international tax publications. He enjoys music and the arts, fitness, spectator sports, history, and spending time with his family.
