During my tenure at NXP, my achievements included:• Post acquisition, I led the implementation of TSC Biotech’s accounting system.• I implemented queries for the Purchasing team to quickly analyze the outstanding actions within the warehouse.• I streamlined the extraction process for rebate invoicing into a bulk system, saving hours.• I taught myself MYOB so I may effectively maintain and report on TSC Biotech.• I took on work exceeding 1.5 FTE and streamlined End-to-end accounting for Fixed assets for the group.Alongside this, my key duties in this role included month-end consolidation reconciliations and journals, group consolidation and elimination entries, budget and variance analyses, and compiling commentary for senior management. Coinciding with this, I responded to audit queries regarding unusual transactions, prepared disclosures for financial statements and researched technical accounting standards to provide initial advice to internal departments. I was also a key contact for senior stakeholders in maintaining positive relations. This was complemented by being the trusted point of contact for senior managers from other teams including the GM - Operations, GM - Merchandise, and Head of Marketing and CX.
