Born and raised in the West suburbs of Chicago, IL, I currently attend the University of Akron as a graduate student in training in Industrial-Organizational Psychology under Dr. James Diefendorff.My primary interests center around improving employee well-being with an emphasis on unpacking the process of energy management/self-regulation; more specifically, understanding the role of post-work recovery experiences and microbreaks during work as regulatory activities underlie my focal goals as a researcher and consultant. I intend to cornerstone my future endeavors on the principles of human motivation and self-determination in the service of organizations and employees worldwide.
