Aim: To analfyse, develop and implement enhanced business solutions in the Career Management Agency.Duties: Undertake detailed analysis of extant business processes, identifying key areas for improvement to reduce staff work effort and manual intervention. Increasing data integrity and staff ability to work in a real time planning environment through system employment and enhancement over time.Additional Roles: Concurrently to improving the business, I have been engaged to represent Career Management Army in their development componant of the JP2080 project within Defence. Now known as Defence 1, the replacement HR system is scheduled for staged release over the next 18 months. Career Management Army also has a requirement to engage other specified software in partnership with Defence 1 and I have proven my ability to communicate and shape discussions between technical specialists and system users and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of system development issues.System Expertise: I have developed high level skills in the use, training and implementation of Allocate Software's "Manpower Analysis and Planning Software" or MAPS.

Representing the Asia Pacific requirements within the broader Product Management function within the business. Working hard to achieve market fit and then market superiority across multiple product offerings.

Aim: To provide expertise in the development and implementation of physical security practices.Current activities:Lead the definition of direction, purpose and vision of security within a large government agency.Lead the analysis of current security practice within a large government agency.Develop sound security practice models, policies and procedures for the improvement of security throughout the agency. Specifically:1. Design and Implementation of a modern and appropriate Agency Alert Level System2. Design and Implementation of a suitable model to deal with Security Disruptions to the Agency's business.Develop and re-engineer security business practices to deliver workable outcomes and measurable security culture improvement. Including:1. Identity Policy Package2. Access Control and Provisioning Policy PackageDeliver project outcomes.Associated activities:Develop suitable information systems for interim use by agency security practitioners. Particularly developing a number of SharePoint instances to act as interim systems, prior to the development and delivery of a full security case management system.

Aim: To develop and maintain excellent customer relationships in support of the sales and deployment process for our In-Cab Fatigue intervention and management system.Duties: To operationalize the fatigue intervention systems within the detailed customer context.Develop and improve engagement and deployment procedures in partnership with other key operations and engineering staff.Diagnose systemic issues with the product and providing detailed hypothesis for engineering consideration.Customer Focused activities: Responding to and solving customer issues in a timely fashion. Acting as their sponsor within the broader Seeing Machines activity to ensure their interests were represented.Accepting Customer Feedback.Providing detailed activity reports for customer reviewSupporting the Sales team in generating successful assessments of the technology and working to support broader sales and roll out programs.Key Achievements: Saving a poor customer relationship and recovering their confidence in our technology, leading to a major sale in one location and improving the chance of broader success within a large multi-national company.

Aim: To lead and develop the logistics functions within an exciting small company.Duties:Develop and Implement supply chain and warehouse management processes.Lead the move to a logistic outsourcing model, reducing costs and shipping overheads.Enhance and develop technical repair and warranty services and processes.Undertake sensitive personnel management functions to improve performance of the team.Undertake the development and implementation of rigorous and transparent procurement policy and procedure.Provide strategic logistics advice to broader company product development activities.

Aim: To develop and implement a gap analysis between current security planning products and the requirements of the PSPF.Duties: Develop an audit and analysis process for a one off gap analysis of current documentation. Create a questionnaire that supports the use of Draft performance criteria developed by a concurrent Defence project, for the purposes of implementing the PSPF. Repair and maintain internal and cross group stakeholder relationships.

Aim: To develop and implement security and risk management programs for DSG, based on best practice and international standards.Duties: Support the review of methodology/security frameworks consistent with AS/NZS ISO 30001:2009 and HB 167:2006 standards, allowing the provision of security plans and assessments to Defence sites. Liaise with Defence security and intelligence personnel to ensure planning methodology is consistent with extant and emerging security policy.Develop risk treatment strategies for Defence sites ensuring the selected security measures represent 'value for money' for Defence while achieving the desired security risk mitigaiton effect. Review accuracy and relevance of security assessments of Defence locations including those conducted by the Australian Security intelligence Organisation T4 (ASIO T4). Develop and provide security methodological briefs for senior executives (up to Secretary/Chief of the Defence Force level) advising on mechanisms to achieve security planning efficiencies and improvements across Defence.Facilitate and conduct vulnerability assessments, security risk assessments and risk action plans identifying opportunities to rationalise base/establishment security arrangements. Undertake analysis and review of security risk assessment data and establish a refined, data-base friendly, data capture tool to improve data capture processes. Provide key direction and liaison with a Database developer for the creation and implementation of a directorate “Risk” database.Undertake key technical advice roles within numerous tender evaluation boards. Specifically supporting the selection of Design Services, Built Works and Electronic (IP based) Security Systems providers

Aim: To develop and implement Governance, Risk, Assurance and Compliance programs for the Directorate, based on best practice and international standards.Duties: Support the development of methodologies allowing key stakeholders to conduct business analysis and planning using an AS/NZS 4360:2004 risk management assured approach. Co-ordinate the development of Business Continuity Management plans for emergency recovery of key business functions. Liaise with key corporate staff and high-level management to ensure the developed planning methodologies are consistent with legislation and corporate policy. Facilitate and develop key business relationships with corporate and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of specified outcomes. Develop key business awareness of management systems, in particular, Quality Assurance, Information Security Management System, and Risk Management.I also established key reporting services for government expenditure, providing assurance to the director and general manager that branch spending was reported correctly under state legislation.
