My wife and I plan on settling down to raise a family and we are looking to move to Eugene, Portland, Bend, Boise, Seattle or Northern California.★ Career Summary:Professional Civil Engineer (P.E. 84662PE) from Eugene with eight years of environmental/civil engineering experience. Local experience within the Eugene/Springfield area consists of approximately 3 years with Branch Engineering. During the economic slowdown, I took a contract position with Oregon Department of Transportation as a stormwater engineer and then a position with AECOM in Beijing, China as a senior environmental engineer. An opportunity to work on the rebuild in Christchurch, New Zealand following the 2010/2011 earthquakes arose and I relocated to work as an environmental engineer with Opus International. One of Christchurch Opus’ significant clients, Selwyn District Council (SDC), needed a development engineer to go on secondment to review and manage all new developments within the district. While working for SDC my primary responsibility was infrastructure design reviews, supervising construction inspections and being the point of contact regarding developments. At SDC I managed, reviewed and approved over $US 30,000,000 worth of infrastructure that the developer designed/built and Council inherited. Lastly, I moved to Zambia to help on my father-in law’s farm (2,000 ha) while he received treatment for prostate cancer.
