For the most part this was Code Checking on the produce section, although from Time to Time i was asked to cover over areas of the store including Fresh, Grocery, Bread as well as other areas. Although my main role was essentially making sure that all of the products with short codes were taken out of business before they when out of code (in this case reduced and sold or wasted if out of date). This role was only part time Friday's and Saturdays.

I was promoted to Deputy Manager after completing the intensive in-house training course, with modules Including Health & Safety, Human Resources, Management Procedures and Food hygiene. I Worked in a busy discount supermarket, sometimes this involved work under pressure, during this time I also provided quality customer service to customers, including dealing with some customer questions, complaints and refusing to serve alcohol to those underage or intoxicated.
