Profile bio

About Daniel Lichlyter, Pmp

From when someone initially steps in the door to when they leave for the last time, training is a key part of how effective and enjoyable their time there has been. They always have something that they need to or can learn to improve themselves, the organization, or those around them. Therefore, good training developers are essential to any organization, and I have spent years building fun and effective training to ensure that people know their jobs, and can work together as a team, in some of the toughest situations on earth. Effective training has to resonate with the learners and is always more effective when paired with a story. I've spent years getting the seeds of good stories from studying history, while my military career has taught me to create and resource wargames that ensure soldiers are trained with a specific goal in mind. I have blended these stories with the needs of the learners and the organization to create effective events that ensure the students understand the material and remember it.Training development is beginning to cross several bridges- between generations with different learning styles, and with major changes in technology. Many in the workforce are comfortable with classroom-based learning (either digital or live) while gamification will be more impactful for future generations. What is the right blend of traditional learning with micro learning and how do we incorporate AI? I have worked through many of those issues, including developing a curriculum that bridged classroom, field, and digital training, as well as worked on integrating new technologies into training. Finally, all training requires resourcing and management. Through my PMP training and experience in Operations, I've been able to build and support teams that have executed exercises and conduct business effectively for months at a time. - Owns the design through PMP and Lean Six Certification- Skilled at large team leadership by building diverse teams for both specific tasks and general operations- Ability to understand intent and desires ensures Clients are served and informed- Experienced at advising and consulting senior leaders to build a better experience- Exceptional written and verbal skills ensure detailed documentation for projects and efforts. - Adept at being flexible and resilient in high energy and rapidly changing environments

Listed skills include Leadership, Active Dod Secret Clearance, Consulting, Planning, and 46 others.
