Following the acquisition by AllScripts of Eclipsys, took over leadership of product development activities (feature development, design, documentation, implementation, integration and testing) of disparate teams in India, North Carolina, Vancouver, and Montreal. Maintained existing radiology application (J2EE and Struts) and developed HL7 enterprise system integration services in Java. Developed integrated radiology application in WPF with .NET and created a DICOM server in C#. Participated in and led functional, technical, and UI design meetings with teams, and wrote technical documentation.Chaired technical product planning meetings, performed risk assessment, and determined release timing, ensuring timely release schedules and improved interoperability with other healthcare applications by designing and developing HL7 integration engine in Java, supporting inbound and outbound messaging in Java using JavaScript for customization. Led performance analysis bench testing and performed code analysis and profiling, enhancing application performance for clients.Developed DICOM service in .NET to fill a gap in Allscripts products, allowing applications to communicate imaging information with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).Trained developer teams in India on enterprise technology stack and performed code reviews, strengthening core competency across the teams.Performed security analysis using Fortify, Burp, and OWASP, helping to ensure secure software before release and mitigating newer security threats as they occurred.
